The Corvette spent the last year undergoing an extensive frame-off restoration. The L36 engine was removed and rebuilt to factory specs while the Stingray’s fiberglass body was stripped and underwent over 100 man-hours in preparing it for paint. The original color of Monaco Orange was reapplied with three coats of PPG paint and three coats of clear coat for a show-quality finish. Most of the interior is original to the car with only the seats receiving new foam and covers.

  1. Well this Original numbers car is sporting an interior that was not available with 990 Monaco Orange …. Monaco Orange was only available with the Black interior… so the Saddle was a no go back then, be nice to see the Trim Tag for this car, you will not see 990 Enjoy!!!

  2. Maybe it was special ordered with the Saddle interior. Even if it wasn’t and it’s had a color change I wouldn’t care. I think that color combo looks great and I would love to win it.
