Corvette Delivery Dispatch with National Corvette Seller Mike Furman for December 26th

Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

Mike kicks off this week’s update with a tribute to a former famous customer. Also, new customers need to make plans to go to Spring Mountain with Mike and the dates for his 2022 classes are now posted. Finally, the reason why you are here! ~Joan Dideon passed away Dec 23rd 2021…most people knew her as the American writer. "Her writing during the 1960’s through the late 1970’s engaged audiences in the realities of the counterculture of the 1960’s and the Hollywood lifestyle." I knew her as the Corvette gal and she knew me as the young guy asking questions about her being a writer. She normally won out with her Corvette questions. But just one look at the pictures below and you will clearly see her love for the Corvette was evident. I’ve come across some interesting personalities in my 44+ years of selling Corvettes.

~One of my best friends in the Corvette hobby lives up in Mifflinburg, PA. Jim B. detailed his new C8 and pulled it out in the sunlight to take pictures and just as he did one of his neighbors drove by in his 1 horsepower buggy. Talk about different modes of transportation! Check out the polished MRR wheels on Jim’s Torch Red C8.

~I’m headed to Spring Mountain in Pahrump, Nevada for 3 classes of the Corvette Owners School. 2 on April 4th/5th and 1 on April 6th/7th. I always have special guests, pizza dinner parties and just a ton of fun. Just ask any of the participants from the last 7 years! ~A few C8 deliveries to share this week.

~Steven W. of Sante Fe, New Mexico reached out through the internet the 1,800 miles to order his new Hypersonic Gray 2022 Corvette Coupe from me and today Plycar Trucking loaded it for the enclosed trailer ride to Steven’s New Mexico home. Equipment list: 3LT pkg, black inter, red stitching, red seat belts, front lift, magnetic ride, bright red calipers, performance exhaust, low rear spoiler and much more!

~ Nathan M. of Littleton, Colorado is currently stationed in Everett, Washington when he is not serving his Country out at Sea. So coordinating his leave time and drop ship for courtesy delivery to his local Chevrolet dealership in Auburn, Washington took some major experience to pull off. Yesterday he took delivery of his new Black 2022 Corvette coupe and here was his short email response…”Thanks again she’s a beautiful machine!” Nathan Equipment list: 1LT pkg, edge red calipers and CF painted wheels. Thank you for your service.

~Charles and Connie G. Of San Clemente, California had much to celebrate this past week. They factory ordered their new Rapid Blue 2022 CorvetteZ51 convertible from me and picked it up at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. The big celebration was for His birthday and even better for his retirement as I timed his build/delivery around all his exciting times this week. Equipment list: 3LT, Tension/Twilight Blue dipped interior, Cf Painted nacelles/roof, front lift, CF instrument panel, magnetic ride, bright red calipers, spectra gray wheels, cf painted mirrors/spoiler and much more. They enjoyed the car for the day and I contacted Plycar trucking to enclose ship their new Corvette from KY to their home in California.

*Can someone explain how or why… a trailer is on the back of this C4??? This is a first for me.

This car would be one of the first 25 Corvettes built in 1953 due to the Bel Air passenger car wheel covers.
