Corvette Delivery Dispatch with National Corvette Seller Mike Furman for Oct 10th

Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

Mike spent much of last week out at Spring Mountain where he hosted three classes of Corvette owners who took the two-day Ron Fellows Owners School course and of course he has the photos to prove it. Mike shares some very interesting builds this week including a car built and delivered to a couple from Hawaii who picked up their car at the Maryland dealership and will sight-see across the USA on their drive back to the west coast. ~3 Corvette Furman owners schools in 4 days at Ron Fellows Spring Mtn Racetrack, something I’ve never done before and just completed. Thank you to all 54 of my Corvette customers and guests from around the USA and much appreciation to the entire staff at Ron Fellows Spring Mountain racetrack in Pahrump, Nevada. ~Hard to believe how fast all of my 3 Corvette Furman owner schools went, they flew by this past week. Thank you to one and all for attending. I hope to be back at Spring Mountain racetrack in early April 2022. Stay tuned Pahrump, Nevada. My two pizza dinner parties that I hosted for 54 students and their guests in two different locations came off without a hitch.

~Speaking of driving on a track…I spent a week with Jackie Stewart as my co-pilot/instructor and Golf partner at Road Atlanta Racetrack mid 1995. What an incredible career he had and he is just a wonderful person. Hard to believe that experience was 26 years ago! Current day picture of Jackie Stewart below.

~Seeking Advanced wheel finishes? I had been emailing with Eric and Skip, Managers at Wheel Craft in Mentor, Ohio the past few months and finally got to see their handy work at the Corvettes of Carlisle event a few weeks ago. Then as chance would have it several Corvettes have been through visiting me at Criswell and I noticed their wheels…you got it, Wheel Craft handled the “Arrive in Style” look that the customer was seeking. ~Some C8 deliveries this past week…

~Alex and Marian T. of Kailua Kona, Hawaii…yes you read that correctly…Hawaii, placed their factory order with me for their 2022 Corvette coupe to be picked up in Maryland…a mere 4,800 miles away! Thursday they took delivery and will drive across the USA visiting family and friends across the way before putting their Corvette on a boat for Hawaii. Their brother-in-law lives in Richmond, VA so he was their first stop after 3 plane rides Wednesday. Check out the Elkhart Lake Blue paint with Sky Cool gray interior and yellow seat belts and yellow calipers. This is one Corvette prepped and ready for driving in Hawaii. Criswell service team added some nice touches like the front splitter etc. Aloha!!

~James L. of San Jose, California placed his order for a Red Mist metallic 2021 Corvette Convertible. I had it drop shipped for Courtesy delivery at his local Chevrolet dealership in Rio Vista, California. This 1LT pkg also has Black interior, edge red calipers, spectra gray wheels and splash guards. James wrote me a note and is over the moon happy with his new mid engine Corvette.

~Tim S. of Sykesville, Maryland is a frequent Corvette buyer/driver. Today he took delivery of his Elkhart Lake Blue 2022 Corvette Z51 Convertible. Check out the stunning Tension Blue/Twilight Blue dipped interior! The Sterling Silver stripes are the icing on the cake! Great Corvette, great guy…great couple.

~Min H. of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina has now taken delivery of three Corvettes from me over the last decade! Today her son accompanied her to witness this stunning Torch Red with Natural dipped interior 2022 Corvette Z51 Convertible. Min hopped on an early morning flight from SC and was headed South in no time.

~D from Colorado flew in last Thursday night and I met him at 7:30am Friday morning so he could start his drive West nice and early. We completed the paperwork/payment process via Fed Ex so he was in and out swiftly. Check out his Torch Red 2021 Corvette Z51 convt. The yellow calipers with the two tone Natural/black interior came out great.

~John F. of Cedar Park, Texas ordered his Elkhart Lake blue 2021 Corvette Z51 coupe and I had it drop shipped for courtesy delivery to his local Chevrolet dealer in Katy, Texas. Email from John:”

~Tony D. of Lake Grove, New York factory ordered a Rapid Blue with Tension Blue/Twilight blue interior for his 2021 Corvette Z51 convertible. We did all the paperwork/payment via Fed Ex and last week Plycar trucking enclose trailered it north to his NY residence.

~Kevin B. of Mastic, New York factory ordered an Elkhart Lake Blue 2021 Corvette Z51 coupe and the Yellow calipers pop! We completed the paperwork/payment process via Fed Ex and last week Plycar trucking loaded his Corvette and took it north to Kevin’s driveway.

~Troy P. of Saint George, Utah factory ordered his Red Mist 2022 Corvette coupe and timed it perfectly to pick up and drive home with his wife Yvonne. They are in town this weekend for his 50th college reunion from the Naval Academy. They will take their time visiting friends on the way back to Utah. Much respect Commander, travel safely and enjoy your new ride!

~Alan and Georgia W. of San Antonio, Texas split time with their Millersville, MD home so they placed their factory order at my desk when decision time came. Last week they took delivery of their Torch Red 2022 Corvette Z51 Convertible with Sky Cool Gray interior. This is Corvette #5 that they have owned! Give ‘em a big Corvette wave.

~Robert S of Genoa, Nevada ordered his Torch Red 2021 Corvette Convertible and took delivery last week at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. He sent me an email stating he had a blast and is enjoying the Corvette ride home. Send a big wave if you see him across the USA. Email from Bob

This is a bit late but wanted to let you know that the museum delivery went great. When my son and I arrived Larry, our host, was waiting for us at the door. His orientation and tour was absolutely great. More importantly the car is just outstanding. Everything I had hoped for and more. We hit the road immediately and arrived in Boulder late yesterday. Two more days to get home to Tahoe. 1,200 miles so far and not a single issue!

~Howie M. of Franklin, Kentucky placed his factory order with me and yesterday was delivery day at the National Corvette Museum in his home state of Kentucky. Howie ordered a Ceramic Matrix Gray Metallic 2022 Corvette Z51 Convt with sky cool gray/ black interior. The edge red calipers give it some pop with the spectra gray wheels!

~Mike S of Richardson, Texas had ordered his C7 with me and today he picked up his C8. Mike and Michelle flew in from Texas yesterday and visited with some friends outside Baltimore before making their way over to Criswell bright and early. Check out their 2022 Corvette Z51 coupe in Arctic White with Adrenaline Red interior. Factory high wing spoiler in body color and Red calipers make this mid-engine Stingray stand out.

~My friend/customer Don said it was time to sell his Limerock Green Corvette…Just the day before my College friend Mark said he was going to look at a Lime Rock Green Corvette North of Baltimore. I told Mark that I like Don’s Corvette better because it has the Kalahari interior. I put the two in touch with each other and as it turns out Don lives 1 block from the neighborhood that Mark grew up in!! Mark picked up his Lime Rock Green Corvette today and couldn’t be happier.
