Corvette Delivery Dispatch with National Corvette Seller Mike Furman for Sept 26th

Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

It’s been a busy week for the nation’s top Corvette seller as he wraps up the final deliveries of the 2021 model year and begins deliveries of the new 2022 models. Mike will be hosting three classes next week at the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School at Spring Mountain so we are looking forward to seeing his pics from the event on his return. In the meantime, check out these special Corvettes going to equally special customers, and don’t miss the vintage and throwback collection that Mike has assembled for the week. ~Next week, October 1st-6th I will be at Spring Mountain Race Track in Pahrump, Nevada hosting 3 (54 clients) Corvette driving school classes. 18 of my customers from all over the globe in a class and their guests. Make sure you put the Ron Fellows Spring Mountain Driving School on your bucket list if you’ve never attended. It’s a blast.

If you are one of the fortunate that will be out at these classes…I host a Pizza dinner party the night before the first class. Ask about it when you register at the main gate house. We will sit around the campfire and enjoy the Nevada sky.

Last Sunday…~ I departed Gaithersburg, MD at 6am and crossed the Chesapeake Bay Bridge at Sunrise (7am) and drove 2 1/2 hours to Norm’s house in Milford, Delaware for Norm’s famous Wax and Chats! Lots of chatting and no waxing. Breakfast and lunch and hospitality galore from the First State Corvette Club. Great bunch for sure! Enjoyed every moment and the weather could not have been any better! Couple folks flew their plane down from Cape Cod and one gentleman drove in from Michigan.

~On any given day you are able to view our Criswell Corvette Service lane in Gaithersburg, Maryland occupied by Corvettes…as these pictures show yesterday’s king of the hill, a 1967 427/435 Convertible with 2019’s King of the Hill, ZR1! A mere 52 years apart sharing the same space. Cooler than the other side of the pillow. Word is that may be Cal Ripken’s 2019 ZR1, and I know that is a local business owners 1967 427/435 Convt.

~C8 Deliveries this past week.

~Mitch and Rosemary W. of Rivervale, New Jersey took delivery at Criswell today of their very first Corvette…but get ready for the six degrees of Mike Furman. Mitch hales from Tenafly, NJ originally so I asked him if he knew a certain wrestling referee that used to coach at Tenafly? Of course he knew him and I showed him a picture of me from 1977/78 of that gentleman and me as he reffed many of my matches throughout the 70’s. So I start speaking with Rosemary and she is from Park Ridge, NJ…the very next town to where I grew up. She mentioned her maiden name and I said any relation to Bob? That’s her brother! She calls him and he didn’t remember me but then his wife in the background said she remembers me from when I grew up in Montvale. But wait it gets better, her Father taught me how to umpire when I was 14 and I played a ton of baseball/ fast pitch softball against her siblings and of course her Father did much of the umpiring. Oh and Rosemary grew up around the corner from James Gandolfini(Tony Soprano) and I played a ton of basketball with him during the 70’s too. Well back to Mitch’s new Silver Flare with Adrenaline red interior 2021 Corvette coupe…stunning from head to toe! Yesterday Mitch asked me was there anything he needed to bring besides the check? I said bagels from my home town and they brought me a nice care pkg! We had a ton of fun this morning as you can imagine. Now I have to go home and freeze the bagels! Mitch’s Father had a 1963 Corvette brand new and it got stolen in NYC so often that he finally sold it. Check out the last picture in honor of Dr Wolffe.

Me and the referee I spoke of that Mitch knew (Circa 1977), Spike Israel from Mitch’s hometown of Tenafly, NJ. Spike coached all of Mitch’s brothers. Spike was one of the best referee’s in the world. He often ref’d Div 1 College matches along with International matches like USA vs USSR.

~Guy L. of Pinecrest, Florida has quite the car collection but you would never know it as he is excited just like all of us for his new Corvette to arrive at his Florida home! Guy was referred to me and we actually finally met at the Carlisle event a few weeks ago. Guy ordered a Torch Red Convertible with CF dual stripes for his 2021 Corvette Stingray. Plycar trucking enclose shipped his new Corvette the final 950 miles to his Florida home. The Criswell service team added the body colored Z51 spoiler. Thank you Mel M. for the introduction and the referral.

~Stacey and Elaine L. of Cameron Park, California ordered their new Arctic White 2021 Corvette Convertible to be drop shipped for courtesy delivery at their local Chevrolet dealer in Stockton, California. The Adrenaline red interior and sterling silver dual stripes make this Corvette pop!

~Chris S. of Upper Marlboro, Maryland has bought several Corvettes from me over the past 7 years so he filled his Corvette need with this 7,000 mile Zeus Bronze with Natural 2020 Z51 coupe. Chris said several people were taking pictures of his new to him Corvette on his ride home! As I always say, the Corvette is not for the shy!

~Kevin L. of Morristown, Tennessee factory ordered his Torch Red 2021 Corvette Z51 coupe and he swooped in today to trailer it home! It will join his C4 in the garage. Equipment list: 3LT pkg, front lift, bright red calipers, Red/Black 2 tone seats, CF painted mirrors/spoiler and Z51 pkg.

~Stephen K. of Scottsdale, Arizona factory ordered his Arctic White 2021 Corvette Convertible and I had it drop shipped for courtesy delivery to his local Chevrolet dealer in Phoenix, Arizona. ~Tony S. of Wilsonville, Oregon ordered his Arctic White 2021 Corvette convertible with Natural interior and performance exhaust. I had it drop shipped for courtesy delivery at his local Chevrolet dealer in Sandy, Oregon. Yesterday was C8 delivery day and the whole family enjoyed the experience.

~Juan V. of Phoenix, Arizona factory ordered his Rapid Blue 2021 Corvette Z51 convt with Tension Blue/Twilight Blue interior and I had it drop shipped for courtesy delivery to his local Phoenix Chevrolet dealer. Last week he took delivery of his stunning Corvette. Give him a big Corvette wave.

~Bev and Joel R. of Delray Beach, Florida were referred to me by another Florida customer and today was delivery day at Criswell Chevrolet for their new Silver Flare 2021 Corvette convertible. ~Zhen J. of Warrington, Pennsylvania has owned a yellow 2008 Z06 and today he took delivery of a Red Mist 2021 Corvette Z51 coupe with two tone adrenaline red/black interior. I’m sure his drive back to PA will be a spirited drive!

~ Katie S. of Sterling, Virginia is engaged to Jim D. And Jim D’s Father/Mother are longtime Friends/customers of mine so when it came time for Katie’s new 2021 Equinox, Jim’s Father joined in by purchasing a new 2022 Trailblazer! So two deliveries at the same time on top of all my Corvette deliveries etc. Hard to find a nicer family and today was double the the new car pleasure. GM survey from Jim:
