We can’t wait to get the response from you folks out there when you see this prototype C3 Corvette currently up for sale on the internet.
Based on the rough translation of the foreign listing, the car started life as a 1977 Corvette Stingray before it was transformed into what the creator is calling the Corvette Musai.
While we make a living as a writer, we’re left rather wordless about this car, other than that it looks like a late-50s Corvette had twin babies with Jimmy Durante. Maybe you can provide some more adequate descriptions of what the owner describes as the only one like it in the world.
The listing is rather vague, but we do believe the bodywork is 90 percent done – thank goodness – and the engine may be a 350 V8 with an Edelbrock intake and carburetor. We’re confused, however, by the translation “Driving time until September 2022” – does anyone out there have an idea what they’re talking about.
The car is listed on the Finnish site Nettiauto, where no price is offered – just “sold based on offers.” A duplicate ad on Facebook suggests a list price of E20,000 ($23,188), however.
The new owner would probably be wise to invest in some type of rear vision camera, as the hardtop roof features only a tiny oval-shaped opening in the middle, providing for loads of blind spots, we’d surmise.
What other improvements would you suggest making? Please, try to remember this is a family site.

Given that for my first ever car ride that I was literally brought home from the hospital as a newborn in a new 77, this abomination brings a tear to my eye.
Musai must be Finnic for Moloch!

I think the original Yugo was a better looking car. Even a Pontiac Aztek is gorgeous compared to this “thing”! Oh yeah, the VW thing was better looking!

Not the most desirable year for a Corvette, but it still doesn’t deserve to look like that! What a hideous transformation!
My suggestion for improvement would be a gallon of kerosene poured generously over the ‘car’ and then ignited. This is the ugliest thing ever on 4 wheels. The creator should be incarcerated.
That is one horrible looking ugly car. I wouldn’t be caught dead in it. I’d rather walk.
Wasn’t there something like this at Corvettes at Carlisle this year? Didn’t care for it either, but it did get a lot of attention.
Love it. Needs Accelerate Yellow paint to make sure it’s not overlooked.
