[PIC] 2023 Corvette Z06 Rendered as a Widebody Track-Attack Weapon

The advance release of the 2023 Corvette Z06 photo by Chevrolet has really brought out some great discussions about what Chevy might have gotten right or wrong with the track-focused variant that will be officially revealed on Tuesday, October 26th.

Personally, we are happy with the looks of the C8 Z06 as released in base form, but of course, it’s the Big Nasty 2.0 with all the aero and other race-derived design queues that everyone is really interested in seeing.

And while some are just content to talk about it as we wait for the reveal, others like digital artist Siim Parn from the spdesignsest account on Instagram are sharing their visions of where the next version of America’s Favorite Sports Car could be headed once the aftermarket goes to work on it.

Siim takes the Z06 as it was shown by Chevy in base form with its Hypersonic Gray exterior and builds on it from there, adding a roof-mounted air scoop, widening the side intakes, and adding air vents to the front of the car. His aero package looks good with the Accelerate Yellow highlights and he builds on that by also adding Yellow mirrors and outlining a black racing stripe down the center of the car. We also think the way he did the red highlights on the front fascia which follows the pedestrian protection blades will also become a trend as it helps to add color to the very dark lower center portion of the fascia.

The carbon fiber fender blades are a bit over the top and his attempt to rework the new wishbone side intake trim sort of falls flat, but overall we find the look of the car appealing, especially with the addition of the 2019 ZR1 wheels we have previously proclaimed as our favorite wheels ever put on a modern-day Corvette.
