Less Than 300 2019 Corvettes Remain for Sale Nationwide. Here is What’s Still Available

When the C7 Corvette generation officially wrapped up last November, there were several thousand examples for sale at the nation’s Chevrolet dealers. But with the C8 Corvette effectively sold out through the end of 2020, many buyers turned to the remaining 2019s for a Corvette that could be purchased both immediately and at a discount thanks to Chevrolet’s incentives to move the remaining vehicles.

Our friend Matt Beaver of Whitmoyer Chevrolet (Email) in Pennsylvania reached out to me the other night asking if I knew how many 2019s were still available. After a look at both Cars.com and AutoTrader.com, I found about 215 listings for new 2019s per site. Matt told me he was digging through his system at the dealership and was able to come up with a list of over 300 Corvettes, with a total of 289 showing available as of the evening of June 4th.

Although it’s not the latest Corvette model, the 2019s represent a great purchase opportunity for Corvette buyers that can wait an extra year or two until the C8 production equalizes. As 2020 Corvettes will run through November and 2021 still under demand from buyers, a 2019 could be a nice “hold-over” Vette for the year and could be traded in on a C8 when they become more readily available. Matt tells us that Chevrolet is still offering incentives of 0% APR financing through 72 months or a $3,250 rebate on top of any existing dealer discounts so that is something definitely to consider.

Although we have the list of available Corvette models as well as some their specs, we don’t know where these cars are located. So let the great 2019 Corvette treasure hunt begin!
