There was a car show at the GM Tech Center in Warren, MI. on Wednesday, July 24th and then this guy shows up!
A huge shoutout to our new Facebook friend Mark Madion who captures this 2020 Corvette Stingray in Torch Red as it drove through a throng of admirers.
While the car was parked under the bright Michigan summer sky, Mark is able to get some great photos of the next-generation Corvette’s exterior and close-ups of the interior. Eventually, the car was pulled under the tent and the removable top was taken out and stored in the rear cargo area.
Mark captured the car in both video and photos. Here’s a compilation of three videos he posted to Facebook:
This 2020 Stingray is nicely optioned with the Z51 package and black exterior trim items. Inside is the Black leather interior with red stitching, GT2 Napa leather seats, and the carbon fiber trim package.
Thanks again to Mark for allowing us to share his great photos. We picked out a little over half of what he shared for this C8 Corvette photo gallery below. See a photo you like? Did something catch your eye? Let us know in the comments below!

Things I Love:
Almost every single thing!!!
Things I don’t Love:
Square exhaust tips
Stingray emblem placement (easy fix)
Wheels (but, several to choose from)
The C8’s aesthetics are coming together for me… However, I’m a wait and see customer with respect to the C8’s reliability. Thanks for posting these pics!!!

THE C-8 IS FANTASTIC, IN MY MIND THE REAR FASCIA DESIGN LOOKS LIKE IT WAS DESIGNED BY A COMMITTEE WITH NO INTERACTION BETWEEN THE MEMBERS. I DON’T KNOW WHAT IT IS THAT DOESN’T APPEAL TO ME EXCEPT TO SAY IT LOOKS A MITE TOO “BUSY”. BESIDES THAT THE INTERIOR WAS BLACK ?, SORRY BUT IT LOOKS A LOT LIKE GREY TO ME. OTHERWISE A FANTASTIC LOOKING CAR AND IF I HAD THE MEANS AND THE USE OF MY LEGS I’D BE ON THE LIST TRYING TO RESERVE ONE FOR MYSELF !
The respect shown to the car and others is amazing. People do not touch the car. They hold back the lanyards so as to not scratch the car. Once they get their “look” inside they step back so someone else can see. Love seeing this!
I like the picture of this C-8 in the sun! The online colors from Chevy are in a controlled environment with studio lighting and seem to not highlight the best of each color. It would be nice to see each exterior color and option in the sun, and in the shade of real lighting from the sun.
Awesome, just awesome!!!
the wall of switches are ROAD HEAD blockers.
I saw my first C8 on Telegraph Rd, in Southfield, MI (just north of Detroit) on Tuesday this week. It was a black base coupe (no Z51 spoiler). As I approached from the rear the C8 was instantly recognizable. It looked (and is) lower and wider than the outgoing C7 generation. IMO it is stunning. My guess is Chevrolet will easily sell everyone they can build. I’m breathlessly waiting for the twin turbo V8 coming out in the near future. Will it be a Z06 or ZR1 or the new “ZORA”?
This car looks beautiful! It is very close to what I would order. The only correction to the description is that those are not GT2 seats, they are Competition seats.
The car is growing on me like crazy!
The only thing though, I’m really going to miss
the shift lever. I drive a 14 Stingray and hold on to that thing
constantly.
Right On!!! Wish list includes active rear spoiler would be perfection.
Back end looks like a Camero. Oh yes, no new Camero coming? Then this must be it. A Corvette Camero.
