Chevrolet Shares Details of the C8 Corvette Reveal's Global Livestream

When Chevrolet reveals the C8 mid-engine Corvette next Thursday at the Blimp Hangers in Tustin, California, a global audience will be able to tune into a Livestream to watch all the action. This morning, Chevy has released some of those details on how to watch the curtains lift on the next-generation Corvette.

The official Livestream for the reveal can be accessed by visiting media.chevrolet.com/nextgenCorvette on July 18th beginning at 7:30 pm PDT/10:30 pm EST. The video presentation will include Corvette video footage, a hosted pre-show and then the reveal presentation.

Chevrolet says the Livestream can be accessed across the world on all seven continents to make this truly a worldwide event.

“There is a large contingent of Corvette fans across the world waiting for the reveal of the Next Generation. We’re happy to give these fans, and all sports car enthusiasts, a way to see and learn about the vehicle at the same time as those participating live in California,” said Barry Engle, executive vice president and president, the Americas, GM. “Viewers will hear directly from Chevrolet leadership, engineering and some special guests about the highlights and background of this first mid-engine Corvette.”

Following the live reveal, the C8 Corvette will begin a national tour as they hit the road in specially equipped trucks that feature interactive displays and vehicle specialists to help answer your questions. The tours will be visiting dealerships across the county and will help potential customers on how they can order and personalize their vehicles.

The C8 Corvette Tours will be happening simultaneously on both the East and West Coasts with more than 125 select dealerships participating. Tour dates and cities will be made available starting on July 19th.

“With all the excitement around this vehicle, we don’t want people to have to wait to experience it in person,” said Engle. “Our national tours will bring the Next Generation car right to our customers’ local Chevrolet dealership, where they can start imagining themselves in their very own personalized mid-engine Corvette.”

  2. We believe the first visit will happen during the 25th Anniversary Show over Labor Day Weekend but I don’t think that’s been confirmed officially. – Keith

  3. I sure hope they are going to visit my local Chevy dealer, that would be awesome. Capitol Chevrolet Salem, OR
