Corvette Delivery Dispatch with National Corvette Seller Mike Furman for Week of February 28th

Each week, Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvette Stingrays and Z06s to his customers who come from all parts of the country to work with the nation’s top Corvette seller.

In this week’s delivery dispatch, Mike shares one of his largest collection of deliveries yet with new Corvette Z06s and Stingrays being delivered at the Maryland-based dealership. Many of this week’s customers are first time Corvette owners so it’s always interesting to see those “first Corvettes”. You never forget your first, right? As always, Mike also includes a collection of vintage pics, old ads and barn finds…

~Do you want to know what makes my job so much fun? I meet some of the nicest people in the World! Being a Corvette Enthusiast selling Corvettes like I have for the past 38 years has literally been a dream job. Approx 1 month ago Julie from Eagle, Michigan reached out to me as she was referred by the Forums to call me. Julie and Tina wanted to order a Shark Gray with Spice Red pkg ’16 Z06…I told her I had one being built and should be in stock within the week. I advised her I could hold it for them until the weather improved. They rented a car and drove from Michigan on Friday and met me at Criswell early Saturday and before 11am they were pointed towards Michigan and headed back West 570 miles. First time Corvette owners!

~Jim and Glenda F of Santa Clarita, Calif factory ordered their new Shark Gray Z06 to be drop shipped near them for Courtesy delivery. They then had that Dealer paint the stripes they wanted on the car. The results are awesome!!! They also own the C1 down below.

~Dan and his wife from the Columbia, MD area factory ordered their Long Beach Red with Kalahari Stingray just the way they wanted it. Another first time Corvette owner.

~Dennis H of Fairfax, VA Factory ordered his Laguna Blue Z51 with Comp Seats and 7spd manual as his First Corvette. Dennis was thrilled with the results.

~Ralph S from Sparrows Point, MD is now on his 4th C7!! He visited me a few weeks ago and picked out an incoming Arctic White with two tone Red Z06. Ralph traded in his Red ZF1 and happily drove away in a new Z06. I didn’t have to go over the features of his new Z as he knew the C7 inside and out.

~Norm S of Severna Park, MD factory ordered his very first Corvette…a Z06 Convt!! Torch Red and loaded! Norm was like an 8yr old kid on Christmas morning!

~Rudy C of Brea, Calif called me up a few weeks ago and chose a Night Race Blue with Gray Stingray. After Fed Ex’ing the paperwork Plycar Trucking picked it up Friday and he will have it by this coming Wednesday. First time Corvette owner as well!

~This Mercedes owner couldn’t wait to get out of his MB 400 to drive his new Arctic White Z06 that he picked from our inventory.

~Another first time corvette owner factory ordered this Spice Red pkg Corvette Convt.
