The owner of this C7 Corvette got a double dose of bad news in Dallas, Texas early Saturday.
As if it wasn’t bad enough that someone stole his sporty red coupe, outfitted with stylish black wheels, the thief then crashed the hot car into the back of a pickup truck, pretty much demolishing the body panels from the windshield forward.

One of the video features that ran during the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring featured Corvette Racing driver Tommy Milner stopping by the Corvette Corral on Friday morning.
Tommy checks out the four 2019 Corvette Grand Sport Drivers Series special editions which include the one in Elkhart Lake Blue with Silver Racing strips that was designed by the only American driver on the team. He then makes his way through the parking area and stops to show off his signature and others on a high-mileage 1967 Corvette.

We have a couple more sighting of the C8 Mid-Engine Corvette prototypes to share as they were testing in North Carolina over the weekend.
What’s very interesting is that these are the first prototype sightings outside of Detroit and the Nurburgring where the C8s are not wearing the heavy black cladding and instead are going with just the camo wrap.

The weatherman has just one job so why isn’t he held to account for the times he gets it wrong (and our Corvettes see rain for the very first time ever!).
On Friday morning one of the largest leaks so far of C8 info occurred after a Corvette Forum member named “NBVette4U” posted about how he was able to spec out a 2020 Corvette from a Canadian Chevrolet dealership which apparently had access to the C8’s order details.
His post included a summary of the car that he had spec’d plus several screenshots of the GM order system that contained options and equipment info. At first, it appeared that GM might have nipped it in the bud as the thread was locked, but by this afternoon it became apparent that the genie was out of the bottle after the documents were published by Jalopnik.
Ron and Lori Galt’s 2005 Corvette won’t be riding off into the sunset anytime soon, despite being coated in Daytona Sunset Orange Corvette.
Ron and Lori have toured America in their Corvette ever since they bought it new, and now that they’ve picked up another new Corvette, a 2019 Arctic White Grand Sport Coupe, the Crawford, Texas couple has decided to donate the ’05 to the National Corvette Museum.
