If the recent revelations about the next generation Corvette are accurate, the 2020 Corvette will debut with 12 colors for buyers to choose from. Shadow Gray Metallic is expected to be one of those colors and if the current C7 color stats hold true, we expect it to be in the top five along with favorites Arctic White, Torch Red and Black.
Each week, Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvette Stingrays, Grand Sports, Z06s and ZR1s to his customers who come from all parts of the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.
Mike kicks off this week’s delivery post with the sharing of a few personal photos as he took his 1967 Corvette to Tony’s Corvette Shop for an oil change and battery swap. Many of the new Corvette deliveries that he shared this week were ordered by out-of-state residents and we see that they were delivered to their new owners via R8C Museum Delivery, Courtesy delivery at a local Chevy dealer, or direct to door with Plycar. And while Mike may be the top Corvette seller in the nation, he can sell more than just Corvettes as the photos show. As always, Mike shares a great collection of throwbacks, vintage photos and more so get those scrolling fingers stretched to avoid cramping!

Corvettes and Sebring just go well together. Ask anyone who has come down for the 12-hour race and they will tell you its an experience like no other. Of course, the place to be is the Corvette Corral and that’s where we were on the Friday prior to the race. Our main motivation for the day was to hear the pre-race talk from Corvette Racing’s Doug Fehan who was on point as always.

Unfortunately, that sound was also accompanied by sirens of Miami-Dade Police units giving chase on the ground and in the air.

Back in 1973, Rex and Kay Hatton were newlyweds, making quite the lovely couple in their black 1969 Corvette convertible.
But their picture-perfect love story suddenly took a turn for the worse when someone stole their Corvette.
“Let the buyer beware” is no more important than when someone is buying a classic car like, say, a C2 Corvette.
That’s the takeaway from a recent story in the New York Post detailing how counterfeit carmakers are scamming enthusiasts of all brands of collector cars.
