Charlie’s Angels is the latest show from the Seventies that’s getting a reboot for the upcoming fall television schedule on ABC. The premise is similar to the original series which features three young beautiful women with various skills who solve crimes for their mysterious benefactor Charlie Townsend. We are bringing this up as we caught a commercial for this Thursday’s series premiere and the show features one of the cast members driving a Corvette ZR1 like she stole it!

The doors opened today in Frankfurt, Germany for the 64th International Motor Show and the halo car of the Chevrolet brand is well represented. Celebrating its 100 year anniversary, Chevy’s display offers a glimpse of past, present and future models in the Chevrolet lineup.
AOL Auto’s Translogic series focuses on transportation technology and for the last couple of episodes, host Bradley Hasemeyer has been taking a closer look at the Chevrolet Corvette. Last week’s video had Bradley exploring the evolution of the small-block Chevy V8 with the help of a 1960 Corvette. In this week’s installment, Bradley takes a Torch Red Corvette ZR1 on a road tour around Detroit with stops at two destinations that played a pivotal role in the 205 mph super car’s development.
Corvettes at Carlisle provided GM’s Corvette Team the perfect backdrop to show off some new accessories, especially on the show’s new namesake color, the 2012 Corvette Grand Sport in Carlisle Blue. Shown on the Grand Sports were the new Torque 2 wheels and a stripe package which can be ordered at Chevy dealers through the Genuine Corvette Accessories catalog.
Remember that video we showed of the Torch Red Corvette ZR1 taking out a Chrysler 300 SRT8 on a California freeway last week? Here is the second installment of that crash that tells us how the occupants of the Chrysler went from yelling “WTF! WTF! R U KIDDING ME?!?!” to actually laughing about the incident afterwards with the owner of ZR1.
There is a reason that Chevy offers the FREE two day driving school for anyone who buys a new Corvette ZR1. With 638 supercharged horses, it can be a handful for the uninitiated. As a PSA for all new Corvette ZR1 drivers on why its important to take advantage of the school, check out this video after the jump. Fair warning though, the dudes in the Chrysler are very unimpressed with the driver of the ZR1 and both let a few choice words fly.
As we mentioned over the weekend, the Corvette ZR1 was featured on Top Gear USA Sunday evening that culminated with the Americanized version of the Stig taking the supercharged 638-horsepower sports car on a lap attack of TG USA’s test track. Carlisle Event’s Lance Miller and family visited Kerbeck Corvette in Atlantic City NJ over the weekend to pick up their new Carlisle Blue 2012 Corvette ZR1. In addition to sporting the special color paying homage to the 30th anniversary of Corvettes at Carlisle, the ZR1 also comes equipped with the new PDE Performance Package which adds the Cup wheels, Michelin PS Cup tires, full width racing style spoiler and the MH3 Close Ratio transmission.

Top Gear USA just kicked off its second season last week and in Sunday’s episode, Tanner and Adam get to drive two automotive legends: A Corvette ZR1 and a Ferrari 458. The duo decides to have a race to establish supremacy and the Stig shows up in dramatic fashion as Round Two is decided on the Top Gear test track.
