Corvettes for Sale: 1,900-Mile 2011 Corvette ZR1 on Bring A Trailer

If you’re looking for a “new” Corvette and are growing impatient waiting for a C8, this C6 ZR1 might whet your appetite for speed, even though it’s nearly a decade old.

The seller of this 2011 Corvette ZR1 says the car still looks, smells, and drives like a brand new car, and no wonder, the odometer shows just 1,900 miles.

It’s being offered for sale on bringatrailer.com, and with bidding slated to end on Friday, the highest offer has been stalled at just $50,000 since Saturday.

An avid sports car and motorcycle collector, the owner – described as a “well known figure in the world of martial arts” – has always babied this black-on-black Corvette, storing it in a climate-controlled environment and covering it when not being used. He used this ZR1 solely on special occasions and it was only brought out for events like local enthusiast meets and cars and coffee.

Said to have undergone “zero paintwork ever,” the car’s finish has been guarded by professionally applied paint protection film on key areas like the front bumper, hood, and side mirrors, especially good to know with a black car.

The car was sold new by Connell Chevrolet in California and purchased in 2013 by the current owner after a long search for the perfect black/black combination. He added custom black wheels, but the original chrome wheels are also being included.

Of course, the car has all the standard equipment, including the supercharged 6.2-liter LS9 V8 engine and six-speed manual transmission, along with carbon ceramic brakes with blue calipers, magnetic ride control, dual-mode exhaust, and head-up display. Furthermore, it also includes the $10,000 3ZR Premium Equipment Group with its custom leather-wrapped interior, Bose premium seven-speaker system, heated seats, memory package, and power adjustable sport bucket seats – with the final MSRP reaching $124,150.

The car comes with two key fobs, books, and the window sticker and is said to have a clean Carfax. You can see and hear the car in action in a driving video posted with the listing, though we would have preferred to see it “really” in action at its top speed of 205 mph.

  1. No need for a trailer, drive that beast home! The C6 ZR1 is a fantastic highway cruiser. That ZR1 needs some miles put on it since that last owner hardly drove it.

  2. My best friend has one of these and we’ve spent a lot of time in it, it’s one incredible automobile and can take your breath away. If I didn’t have a C6 Z06, I would buy this car in a heartbeat.
