January 2019 Corvette Sales Drop To Lowest in C7 Era

Although GM has moved to release its Corvette sales reports on a quarterly basis, that doesn’t mean the automaker isn’t tracking monthly sales internally.

Depending on the report (we’ve seen two with slightly different totals), sales of the Chevrolet Corvette hit rock bottom in January 2019 with a total of 800 sold during the month. That number represents a 20% decline in sales from January 2018 and appears to continue the slide that started after last year’s 2nd quarter report.

[VIDEO] Stock 2019 Corvette ZR1 Races a 600-HP 2019 McLaren 600LT

Hennessey Performance shared this video showing an Arctic White 2019 Corvette ZR1 with a stock LT5 V8 that makes 755-hp racing a 2019 McLaren 600LT with 600-HP on board.

The cars are pretty evenly matched but we’d suggest a driver mod for the McLaren as in both the dig and roll races, the McLaren was just a little slower getting off the marks and that appears to be the difference in both races.

Hennessey does call this a stock ZR1 but the car does have the Hennessey badge on the rear and with previous videos of a White ZR1 upgraded with the HPE850 package so we’re not sure how stock this car actually is.
