Revealing secrets of the C8 Corvette is nothing new for news and enthusiasts websites that specialize in the sports car but now even truck sites are getting into the game because it’s no secret that C8 news = page views right now.
GM-Trucks.com today shared an exclusive look at the C8 Corvette’s official logo in digital format. Prior to this, we’ve only seen the C8 logo reproduced on a key-fob and on the CarScoops’ spy photos of the C8’s interior.
The logo itself is an evolution of the crossed flags logo from the C6 days with the two flags pointing straight out to the sides, to the C7 logo which featured a more luxuriously-looking swept-back design. With each generation, the logo is refined and the C8 emblem continues that evolution with a wider base point, a brighter red background on the Chevrolet flag, and a more vertical design overall.
But wait, there’s more! GM-Trucks.com is also promising to release the 2020 Corvette’s dash cluster start-up animation on Thursday. This C8 logo probably comes from that start-up routine. It’s going to be a long wait until tomorrow’s reveal and we are excited to see how the new C8 Corvette will great its owners!
