Now here’s a cool way support the National Corvette Museum! Right now on eBay you can bid for a chance to have your Corvette featured on the cover of America’s Sportscar Magazine. America’s Sports Car is the quarterly magazine published by the museum for its members.
Traditionally we see the NCM auctioning off memorabilia, museum items, and even Corvette Racing treasures. And I’m sure most of our readers have entered to win one of the many Corvette giveaways each year. This is the first time we recall seeing this cool opportunity to support the museum.
The winning bidder will win the honor of having their Corvette professionally photographed. The car will then be featured prominently on both the cover and Table of Contents page of America’s Sports Car. The photos will be emblazoned on 28,000ish copies of the magazine. The winner will also receive a digital collection the images taken during the photo shoot as well as an electronic copy of the cover artwork. And, of course, they’ll get 10 printed copies of the magazine.
The lucky winner is responsible for getting their car to and from the National Corvette Museum for the photo shoot on what they call a “mutually agreeable date (no later than June 1, 2019).” From there your ride will show up on the July/August/September 2019 edition of America’s Sports Car.
As we enter tax season it’s also good to know that the winning amount is a tax-deductible donation to the National Corvette Museum.
