Corvette Delivery Dispatch with National Corvette Seller Mike Furman for Nov. 24th


Each week, Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvette Stingrays, Grand Sports, Z06s and ZR1s to his customers who come from all parts of the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

It’s a great time to be involved in the Corvette hobby and it seems like more news is made every day. This week the new Corvette was named the MotorTrend Car of the Year and named to the Car & Driver’s 10Best list. We also see that a Corvette Team member went old school with his recent Corvette purchase. In this week’s Delivery Report, Mike shares some of the new Corvettes and other vehicles that he sold and we get a healthy dose of the classics and throwback photos to boot. Got a favorite? The title for the youtube video says Arctic White but we know this as the Ceramic Matrix Gray Corvette Stingray that was one of the original reveal cars at the blimp hangar in California. (I think we’ve been burned before by Ceramic Matrix Gray at least once.

A longtime supporter of the National Corvette Museum was a passenger in a big piece of the legendary sports car’s history as it drove right down Corvette Boulevard on Wednesday, providing the facility with an appropriate bookend for the highly significant Corvettes displayed there.

The 2020 Corvette Stingray Convertible is at the LA Auto Show and a YouTuber named Redline Reviews had a few minutes with the Rapid Blue car.

The host does a very good walk-around video of the exterior and then jumps inside to review the Stingray’s 3LT interior. We also see a demonstration of the convertible top. The host says it was the first time he had seen the car in person and that it certainly lives up to the internet hype!

It is that time, folks! Our award for the best Corvette of the 1950s is… drumroll please… the 1957! In a decade full of firsts, the 1957 Corvette manages to stand out among its peers. Starting under the hood, Chevrolet bored out the 265 cube V8 from the ’56 model and the resulting engine is still legendary today; the 283 which, for the first time in Corvette history, was able to produce one horsepower per cubic inch in top-spec, fuel-injected, form.
