Although it may seem as though we are making a joke, it’s a fact that we’ve documented over the years the various visits that Corvette team members make to a neighborhood McDonald’s while driving Corvette prototypes. It’s one of the most American ways to grab a quick (and delicious!) lunch while almost guaranteeing the prototype will be photographed.

Our last visit with the next-generation came when the C8 Dealer’s Tour made a stop last month in Tampa. Frankly, we’re starting to get the shakes!

Growing up in the 1970s, I remember loving to look at the work of Ed “Big Daddy” Roth, though back then I didn’t know he was the creative genius responsible for those crazy caricatures of cars with big slick tires and fiery exhaust.

Chevrolet’s Corvette C8.R Receives First BoP for the Roar Before the 24
IMSA’s Competition Committee released the season’s first technical bulletin outlining the Balance of Performance for the three classes ahead of the official Roar Before the 24 testing session scheduled for January 3-5th. The test is mandatory for all teams competing at the 2020 Rolex 24 at Daytona later in the month.
