[VIDEO] American Pickers Makes an Offer on a 1963 Corvette Split-Window Coupe

We don’t have a Midyear Monday photo gallery this week for you, but instead you can enjoy this five-minute video from the History Channel showing Frank from American Pickers attempting to purchase a 1963 Corvette Sting Ray Sport Coupe.

From History on YouTube:

In Ohio, Frank’s offer for a 1963 split-window Corvette keeps going up and up and up in this clip from Season 20, “Say Sohio.” #AmericanPickers

  1. Frank hasn’t changed any, still a tight A$$. If Mike would of been there he might have stepped up to the plate.

  2. Another reality show fixed as usual. The History channel should be ashamed to be associated with this crap.

  3. Yes, Frank is a moron. And no it’s not the most desirable or the most expensive Vette. And the owner wants his kid to drive it!!?? To bad there are to many of these kind of shows. Wheeler Dealer is one, get rid of the douche bag Mike Brewer.

  4. If I had something that Frank wanted, he would be out of luck, I just don’t like his style. Now Mike I could deal with. Regarding the ’63, Frank wasn’t too far off at $41,500. While a very desirable car, this one had some serious issues.

  5. I’ve written several Corvette Restoration Books (’53-’67), one of which was the number one selling Corvette Restoration Book in 1979 and 1980 (per Motorbooks International and other sources) and was editor of the nation’s largest all Corvette magazine in the late 70’s early 80’s. I almost fell out of my chair when these two started spewing their so-called knowledge on this 63/S.W. I’ve owned 10 Vettes, and 2 of them were 63’s. Without going into detail, I’d have to agree with most of the negative comments herein. As valuable as the split window is, Frank and Mike’s brother should have investigated the value of 67 Big Blocks before spewing some of their misinformation about “most valuable” for the 63/S.W. If you watch their shows, they have a history of absolutely getting suckered when it comes to most car purchases they make.
