The C6 Corvette ZR1s have offered tremendous performance value for the money since they burst on the scene in 2009. Unofficially known as the “Blue Devil”, the C6 ZR1s were based on the supposition of how much performance could you get from a $100,000 Corvette. The Corvette Team answered that call with the LS9 V8 engine that made 638-horsepower and 604 lb-ft of torque.

Our friends at Kerbeck Corvette have been keeping a low profile since the Coronavirus shutdowns forced most of the dealership’s employees to stay home, and hopefully we’ll be getting some good news shortly from the New Jersey dealership. But even in the face of the lockdowns, Kerbeck is still making Corvette dreams come true!
This 1966 Corvette convertible definitely won’t win any contests for originality.
But we still like the overall look of this classic C2 Sting Ray, currently seeking a new home on bringatrailer.com. So far, interest surprisingly enough has been minimal, with the high offer being just $10,000 with four days left in the bidding.

Having previously autocrossed a 2020 Corvette during the C8 Chevrolet Media Drive earlier this year at Spring Mountain, I can attest to the fact that the car is very well suited for these kinds of courses.

I am a huge fan of the Mecum Auction organization and have been since I attended my first NCRS Winter Regional in the early 2000s when Mecum was paired with the show at Kissimmee’s Old Town. We’ve watched over the years as they grew to become one of the major automotive auction houses in the USA. One of the major factors in the growth of the collector car auctions over the last 20 years was when they were able to showcase their consignments live on TV and of course that requires having the right people on camera who are knowledgeable on a wide range of collector cars.

Imagine how excited the owner of the 269th mid-engine Corvette produced must have been upon taking delivery.
