On Tuesday, we shared with you the first real confirmation we have that the C8 Corvette Z06 would be available as a Convertible after a Chevy engineering team was spied testing in Ohio. In that encounter, we noted the C8 Z06 prototypes have finally ditched their heavy black camouflage and one of the convertibles actually had the top down.

It’s the teaser video that keeps on teasing!

It was nearly a month ago that Chevrolet dropped the latest teaser video for the 2023 Corvette Z06. It’s called ‘Save the Date” and its purpose was to announce the official reveal date of the C8 Z06 for Tuesday, October 26th. That video shows the Z06 prototype making its way from the Nurburgring to Le Mans where it ended up parked side-by-side with Corvette Racing’s C8.R race car.

One of the year’s most anticipated games is set to hit Xbox and Windows on November 5th, 2021. Forza Horizon 5 is the fifth installment in the wildly popular open-world “driving festival” series from Playground Games. Details about the first Forza game built for the next-gen Xbox Series X have been slowly hitting the ‘net since the title was officially announced in June.

After stops in Colorado, the South of France/Northern Italy, Australia, and England, Horizon 5 will bring the festival back to North America with a beautifully rendered (and fictionalized) version of Mexico that has been touted as the most expansive map in the history of the series. Last week saw the release of the initial vehicle list, and, at 426 members strong, it doesn’t disappoint, even next to the magnitude of the rest of the game.

Despite its name, this 1966 Corvette convertible is no diamond in the rough.

This custom pro-tour restomod – nicknamed the “Blue Diamond” – has been buffed, cut, and polished to sheer perfection and is now being offered at no reserve during the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Houston Sept. 16-18.
