The 2027 Corvette Stingray introduces the new 6.7L LS6 V8 engine, delivering 535 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque. This naturally aspirated Gen 6 small block engine features advanced fuel delivery, a higher compression ratio, and a new optional quad center exit exhaust system. But what we think Corvette enthusiasts are really going to fall in love with is the aggressive and unique exhaust note.
The folks at GM Authority got their hands on some exclusive video capturing the newer, deeper exhaust note of the LS6 engine on a pre-production 2027 Corvette Stingray wearing Michigan Manufacturer plates. The Stingray is optioned with the new “Quad Center” exhaust which acts as a sound force-multiplier with the four exhaust tips amplifying the new exhaust note.
In this video you can really get a good listen to the Stingray’s exhaust note as the car pulls away from a stop. Alex from GM Authority also takes a deeper dive in the specs of the new engine and its new fuel delivery system which features both direct and port injection for performance and fuel efficiency.
