Back in January, we took in the NCRS Winter Regional Show in Melbourne, FL and witnessed the judging of the new Open Class which opens up the NCRS experience to just about any Corvette that may be parked in your garage or barn. During our trip to Melbourne, we saw Corvettes in the Open class ranging from restomods to vintage racers, and there was even a new C8 that was being judged. This week on the CORVETTE TODAY Podcast, your host Steve Garrett talks to NCRS legend Roy Sinor about the new class and what it could mean for the Corvette hobby.

The National Corvette Restorer’s Society is embarking on a new class of judging, which includes all years and generations of Corvette. It’s called the Open Class.

Roy explains why the NCRS is taking on this new judging category, how it differs from judging the NCRS does already, how a Corvette is judged and graded in this new category and what you win when you enter your car into the Open Judging category.
