For Corvette collectors, the C7.R Edition has always lived in rare air — a 500-unit tribute to Corvette Racing’s 2015 Le Mans class win, wrapped in either Corvette Racing Yellow or Black. Now, one of those 500 cars has surfaced on Craigslist out of Yakima, Washington.

This example, finished in Black and showing just 20,853 miles, is one of 207 coupes built and one of only 140 equipped with the 8-speed automatic. It carries the mandatory 3LZ package, the Z07 Performance Package, and the full C7.R graphics and appearance package — a $23,055 option on top of the Z06’s already lofty $111,400 MSRP.

When Chevrolet unveiled the C7.R Edition at Bloomington Gold in 2015, Corvette marketing manager Harlan Charles made it clear the car was meant to bridge the gap between the street and the race program.

“Corvette Racing’s legacy and technology were significant influences on the development of the Corvette Z06,” Charles said at the time. “The C7.R Edition honors the direct link between the race car and the production model.”

Under the hood sits the legendary 6.2 liter supercharged LT4, good for 650 horsepower and 650 lb ft of torque — the same heart that powered the Z06 to supercar level performance throughout the C7 generation.
