Officials at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway shared the first look at the 2026 Track and Festival vehicles for the 110th running of the Indianapolis 500 which will be held at the end of May.

A total of 50 vehicles were staged on the historic bricks of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and they include 13 2026 Corvette E-Rays and 37 Silverado RST Pickup Trucks.

The official pace car livery for the previously announced 2026 Corvette ZR1X Indy 500 Pace Car will be unveiled later in April. The honorary driver for the race is Indiana University’s championship-winning head football coach Curt Cignetti.

The livery for the 13 Corvette E-Rays are finished in Arctic White with the Santorini Blue interior and they are equipped with the three-stanchion rear spoiler and visible carbon fiber wheels with the red stripe. The graphics show the Indy 500 logo on the doors and the cars are wearing a modified version of the Stars & Steel limited edition graphics. It wears Blue Stars with Red Stripes and the nod to America’s 250th Anniversary is shown both on the front hood and rear spoiler end plates. A CORVETTE banner appears on the top of the rear spoiler.

Presenting the Festival vehicles were J. Douglas Boles, INDYCAR and IMS president; Dave Neff, 500 Festival president and CEO; and Alyssa Haba, Chevrolet motorsports marketing and activation senior manager.

We find it curious that the official press release posted on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s website failed to make ANY mention the 13 Corvette E-Rays and only focused on the 33 Silverado Trucks. Yes the Grand Sport X is replacing the E-Ray in the Corvette lineup for 2027, but as your unofficial E-Ray spokesperson, I suggest you either lean into it and celebrate Chevy’s first performance hybrid being part of this annual celebration or don’t make them an official festival car for the world’s largest spectator event.

On a positive note, these 13 Corvette E-Ray Festival cars will be offered for sale at Indianapolis-area Chevy dealers as Certified Pre-Owned vehicles once the race is over. They will come complete with the graphics package as well as documentation of their use as an official Festival vehicle.

The 2026 Indy 500 will run on Sunday, May 25th and will be broadcasted live on FOX with coverage beginning at 10 am ET.

  1. Hand to god, GM has a FETISH for all things WHITE. If you’re only doing a handful of examples (13 in this case) would it really be so bad to just let the freak flag fly, and go completely nuts with the livery?

This is virtually indistinguishable from the 2025 livery. The 1998 livery might not be to everyone’s liking–but everyone KNOWS OF IT. And frankly, that’s the kind of infamy GM should be slathering onto these once-annually offerings.

  2. I’m right there with you IPD. They’re boring ugly ass White!!! Not a good color for Corvettes. Hopefully the Pace Car will be a cool Corvette color with a knockout livery.
