One of the coolest “Certified Pre-Owned” Corvettes you can purchase may be coming up for resale as soon as this Friday.

We’re talking about the 12 Indy 500 Festival Corvettes that were used during the month of May to support the Indianapolis 500. These are not the official ZR1 Pace Cars that were at the track, but the matching 2025 Corvette Stingray Z51 Convertibles wearing the same livery that was on the official ZR1 Pace Cars.

After the race is over, Chevrolet generally distributes these “used” Corvettes through Indianapolis-area Chevy dealers. When they are resold, all the documentation that these are official Festival Cars used by race officials is included. While we are excited to hear that they are coming up for sale, it may be the case of already being too late as we hear these cars are in demand and usually purchased by collectors already known to these dealers.

We caught this news from the Pace Car and Truck Owners and Enthusiasts page on Facebook. The page’s moderator Tom Beeler suggests anyone with interest should contact these local Indy Chevy dealers to inquire if one is available:

I’d probably call the sales manager of one of these four Indianapolis area dealers:

• Hare Chevrolet – (317) 333-6958
• Penske Chevrolet – (317) 343-4593
• Bill Estes Chevrolet – (317) 643-5230
• Ray Skillman Chevrolet – (317) 449-3151

Tom also shared one of the window stickers for the Indy 500 Festival Stingray Convertible and the MSRP comes in at $108,015. I see that in addition to the Z51 Performance Package, these Festival Corvettes were equipped with the Two-Stanchion Visible Carbon Fiber Spoilers which adds an additional $6,225 to the price. They also come with Z51 Magnetic Ride Control, Carbon Flash Nacelles and Roof, Visible Carbon Fiber Mirror Caps, 5-Split Spoke Satin Graphite Wheels with Machined Edge, Black Composite Rockers, Black Exhaust Tips, and the Premium Floor Mats:

And finally, if you like trivia Tom says that the actual ZR1 Pace Car used on the track was VIN 002. The car would have been one of the the Captured Test Fleet vehicles and it’s not second ZR1 built for customers as we know that car is a Black Convertible going to Rick Hendrick. To date, we still see just 13 ZR1s of the 302 that are in the order system have been completed.

Like I said, I hope we aren’t too late to this sale, but if we can help someone get a cool car, my work here is done!
