As we get closer to closing out the 2026 model year for Corvette, many enthusiasts have already been looking forward to 2027 which is when we are expecting the 6th and final model of the C8 Corvette Era to begin production.
Of course we are talking about the upcoming C8 Grand Sport and its new 6.7L small block V8 which could offer anywhere between 525-500 horsepower. The new model is poised for a historic reveal really any time now as the 2026s final day of production has been announced as May 29th while final orders will be accepted at the end of March.
Readers of CorvetteBlogger were among the first to catch a glimpse of the new GS model featuring its heritage color of Admiral Blue and wearing two red hashmarks which have been relocated to the rear quarter panels. It’s also been fun learning about the new LS6 V8 as well as some of the RPOs historically associated with the model.
The YouTube channel ARC Driver is also excited for the new Corvette and produced this video running through some of the things we know as well as discussing some things that are still very speculative including model pricing and when production may start.
