Happy Monday, Corvette fans!
We had a great turnout last Friday at Mecum Kissimmee 2026 for the annual “Corvette Day” as there were around 50 of us who met up and then walked around to look at some of the outstanding Corvettes being offered for sale at the “World’s Largest Collector Car Auction.”
Mecum once again brings out the Corvettes and the C2s were by far the most plentiful generation seen at the auction. The search function on Mecum’s website shows 145 Midyears being offered at Kissimmee. As of today, just 45 of these C2s have crossed the block and of those, 31 have been sold while “The Bid Goes On” for the other 14 Corvettes. The good news is that the majority of Midyear Corvettes are still available for buyers this week, so get your bidding pass and head to Kissimmee for the live event, or watch all the action on Mecum.com.
There is something for every collector at Mecum Kissimmee 2026 and that is especially true with the 1963-1967 Corvettes consigned to the sale. We saw the 1967 Corvette L88 that could sell for several million dollars. We walked around a ton of split windows being offered in all sorts of condition, and we even saw the shagadelic 1965 Corvette with the American Flag paint job that appeared in the second Austin Powers movie.
So far, the most expensive C2 sold is a Restomod 1963 Corvette that changed hands for $297,000 and there have been six C2s that were sold for prices under $60,000. There was even a barn-find 1963 Split Window Fuelie that changed hands for $99,000.
Mecum Kissimmee 2026 runs through this Sunday, January 18th at the Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida. Here’s a look at some of these C2 Corvettes being offered at the central Florida auction:
