Now that we are well into the 2026 Corvette Model Year, I thought it would be an interesting exercise to see the latest rank of exterior colors that buyers are selecting. As a recap, Corvette buyers currently have ten exterior colors to choose from, with the newest editions for the ’26 being a bright Roswell Green Metallic and the return of Blade Silver.

Our friends at C8Tracker.com pulled this data from the publicly available window stickers and for 2026 production we are officially counting totals from the weeks of August 4th through November 21st. That gives us 15 weeks of production data with a total of 10,032 units that have had window stickers issued so far.

The top four colors for the C8 Corvette have traditionally been Black, White, Torch Red and Red Mist with the order at the top slightly different based on the model. Now we are seeing the two new colors for 2026 running 3rd and 4th ahead of the two reds which we find to be very surprising. We had heard back in August when we did our Plant Tour that they were pushing out Roswell and Blade Silver as they were the two new colors for the model year, and it looks like those quantities were pretty steady over the course of these 15 weeks of production. Currently, Blade Silver is running at 12.59% of production while Roswell Green Metallic comes in at 10.95%.

While these two new colors are doing well now, it’s my expectation that we’ll see the two Reds eventually surpass Roswell Green and Blade Silver to take back their traditional rankings in the top quarter of production.

Now, let’s take a look at the flip side of the chart. As the two new colors for 2026 are enjoying their moment of popularity, the three colors introduced for 2025 and retained for 2026 are now at the bottom of the chart. Sebring Orange Metallic is running ahead of the three with 529 produced (5.27%). Competition Yellow is still one of the top colors for ZR1 production and it’s coming in at 441 produced for 4.4% of production. Bringing up the rear is my beloved Hysteria Purple Metallic at just 373 units for 3.72% of production.

Chevrolet’s designers have done a great job of mixing up the color palette during the C8 Corvette generation and we are expecting to see at least two of these current 2026 colors dropped and replaced with new exterior shades for 2027. With the return of the Grand Sport expected in the model year, will we see a version of Admiral Blue or another really dark blue offered? Stay tuned as we are just a few months away from when we expect to hear all about it!

  1. I held off ordering an ERay until the Silver came back. That could explain to popularity as customers were waiting for it’s return.
