[PICS] The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Presents its 2025 Indy 500 Festival Vehicles

One of the cool events we always look forward to every year is the unveiling of the official Pace cars and Festival cars for the annual Indianapolis 500 which is held in May. This year, we know the 2025 Corvette ZR1 will be the pace car as it was announced in November 2024 that NFL great Michael Strahan would be driving the car. While we haven’t seen the actual livery for the official pace cars, we now have photos of the Chevy fleet that will serve as the official “Festival Cars” for this year’s race.

The unveiling of the Indy 500 Festival cars is a tradition that goes back a long way as we know that previously there were C4 Festival Corvettes created. Previous Festival cars have been Corvettes, Camaros, and even Silverados and this year all three are back with their very own livery for the 2025 Indy 500. Today at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the 2025 Festival cars were on display on the front stretch just behind the row of bricks that marks the start/finish line.

We count at least 12 Corvette Stingrays at the front of the pack in these photos. Each is a Convertible in Arctic White with Black Roofs and Nacelles, with Black Wheels and a unique Green racing stripe. The doors show off the familiar Indy 500 race details with a green graphic, while the iconic Indy 500 “wheel and wings” logo is displayed on the back quarter panel behind the wheels. These Z51 Corvettes each have a numbered Indiana license plate as well.

The rest of the Festival Cars are made up of Silverados and Camaros. All of these Indy 500 Festival vehicles are used by track personnel and VIPs, along with the individual racecar drivers to get around town during the month of May. Once the race is over, these Corvettes and other Festival Cars are usually given to area Chevrolet dealers who sell them as pre-owned but with all the provenance and documentation that shows these were officially used for the 2025 Indy 500 event.
