Are you excited about the reveal of the 2025 Corvette ZR1 scheduled for some time on Thursday? We certainly are! We’ve been following this next iteration of the C8 since the first spy pics dropped back in April 2022 of a C8 Corvette widebody wearing new wheels. Over that time, any day we were able to share a ZR1 Spied! post was a great day indeed.

Now our journey with the preproduction ZR1 is coming to an end, but in reality, it’s only beginning as we’ll soon have all the info on what makes the ZR1 “Unthinkable.”

Our friend Justin at HorsePower Obsessed YouTube channel shares some of the latest spy pics and rumors ahead of the reveal, and it’s fun to indulge in some final speculation about what we might see on Thursday. He also has some pretty cool renderings to go along with the spy shots, so check it out below.

We do know that the average Corvette owner will never have one of these nice pricey cars.

I am not so sure about the C8 Zr1 not being obtainable by the “average Corvette owner.” I saw an article about the C4 Zr-1 in 1989 and thought that it was completely out of my reach. I had not owned a Corvette at that point and was not much of a fan. I now consider myself an “average Corvette owner” with one each of the following: 1990 Zr-1, 2011 Zr1, 2019 Zr1 ZTK and a C8 Z51 Stingray. It just goes to show , you never know what the future will bring.
