General Motors is getting ready to reveal the all new C8 Corvette ZR1 and now we finally have a date for the reveal – 7.25.24.
GM provided no other details, and they don’t even tell us if the car is going to arrive to customers as a 2025 or 2026 model year. They did share this quick new teaser confirming the date:
GM refers to the ZR1 as “Unthinkable” and in their most recent teaser video, they said that “unthinkable speed” was coming this summer.

Looks like we might see the new ZR1 at the 30th Anniversary Celebration depending on how much they reveal in a little over a month.
It will also be interesting to see how this affects the Z06 market in the short term.
Will dealers allow Z06 allocation holders to parlay their allocation into one for the ZR1?
Will demand for the Z06 drop as people wait to see how things shake out?
GM can’t build enough z06 or Erays and now a zr1 and a ruler of a corvette suv.Im waiting 2 years to put my order in from the waitlist,so how long will it now be delayed.They need another factory to help with the increase in modules.😩
