The final opportunity is here for those of you who had your orders matched to the last allocations of the 2024 model year. Dealers received allocations last week with all three models being available, and today we got the final constraints for this order cycle.
If you were hoping to see any more of the discontinued colors, they are officially off the plate. All seven colors that were going away after this model year have already been closed out and they are done.
Constraints for the Stingray are the same as what we’ve been seeing over the last few months. No real changes there. The Q9I 20-Spoke Gloss Black Wheels are available in limited quantities, and GM is also limiting the 1LTs to just 133 available nationwide. We also see once again that GM is controlling the Z51s vs the base cars with your dealer being told exactly how many of each they can have.
For the Z06, the carbon fiber has once again gone scarce with zero availability on either T0F or T0G carbon fiber high wings, while the carbon fiber ground effects (CFV/CFZ) are also very limited. Surprisingly, the carbon ceramic brakes (J57) are limited to just 88 nationwide, and we are also seeing the Black Spider Aluminum Wheels limited to just 175 nationwide as well.
The E-Ray is also up for ordering this week, and the great news for those who are waiting patiently is that there are no constraints listed.
This does it for the 2024 model year ordering, and these cars will be produced through September 6th, 2024.
The next order cycle for Corvettes will be for the 2025s, and we believe dealers will receive their allocations on July 11th and ordering will open on July 18th.
We also learned that the Corvette Assembly Plant will be taking next week off for the annual summer shutdown. The Bowling Green facility will be closed from Monday, July 1st through Friday, July 5th. Normal operations will resume on Monday, July 8th.
