Over the past few weeks, we’ve told you all about the latest six Corvettes rescued by Dennis Collins of “Coffee Walk” YouTube fame.
Now you can actually see – and best of all hear – Dennis driving these noteworthy Corvettes that have been made roadworthy by his ace mechanic Alex as they team up with Bring a Trailer to auction them off in the next few days.
And trust us, seeing these legendary Corvettes on the road again where they belong will definitely put a smile on your face. Watching that ’70 LT1 squat and hop down the road sure did the trick for us!
The auctions started Thursday for these six cars:
1971 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe LS6 4-Speed Project
(the only one being offered with a reserve because we get the feeling Dennis really doesn’t want to sell this “Holy Grail” Corvette)

32k-Mile 1989 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe Callaway Twin Turbo
(with special upgraded automatic transmission)

Alex and crew have gone through these cars, getting them ready for the next owners. The video goes in chronological order, and just when I thought I had chosen a favorite, the next one would pop up and I’d change my mind. Personally, I can’t get over the beautiful white interior in the Lynndale Blue ’67, and I love, love, love the ’89 Callaway Twin-Turbo, #33 of 68 made that year.
You can read more details about each of the cars at Bring a Trailer.
Over this upcoming holiday weekend, set aside some down time by yourself to watch the video, and let us know your favorites. It’s almost like having six children, though – you love all of them!

I like all of these Corvettes but for me the 67, the 70 LT-1 and the Callaway are the three cherries on top. Loved it when Dennis got down on it in the 67 and 70 LT-1!
Beyond tired of YouTube douches cornering markets and hoarding vehicles for their “content”, then flipping and reselling at grotesque premiums to fund their channels, driving up prices. StreetSpeed717 anyone?? DOJ should come down on YouTube, BaT, and these villains like a ton of bricks for Sherman violations. If you see one of these clowns at a car meet, be sure to let them know EXACTLY how real car guys feel about their unlawful market manipulation. It’s long past time that we eject the “influencers” from car culture.
For the most part I agree, but I think running across a barn find and then rescuing it is a good thing. The Ford GT guys did it too, buy one and put it away and wait ten yrs or so and triple your investment.
