With the front-engine days of the Corvette in the rearview mirror, that makes the more powerful versions of the C6 and C7 more attractive to some enthusiasts.
That would include this 2007 Z06 that’s currently being offered on Bring a Trailer. So far, the high bid has hit $20,706, with six days left in the auction.
The sixth-generation Z06, of course, includes the 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine that knocks out 505 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, connected to a six-speed manual transmission.
This two-owner coupe – which has been driven just 22,000 miles and includes a clean Carfax with 14 service records – is colored in the somewhat rare shade of Atomic Orange Metallic, which was a $750 option and appeared on only 673 of the roughly 8,100 Z06s built that year.
This car appears to be completely stock, with the $3,485 2LZ Preferred Equipment Group that included seat-mounted side-impact airbags, power telescopic steering wheel, auto dimming mirrors, heated seats, AM/FM 6-CD Bose sound system, cargo net, luggage shade, memory package, and more.
Originally sold by Queen City Motors in Spearfish, South Dakota but currently in Dallas, Texas, this Z06 wound up with a total MSRP of $78,665, including more than $8,000 worth of options like the $1,755 Z06 Polished Aluminum Wheels. Photos from the original National Corvette Museum delivery are included, as is the window sticker.
The seller – who acquired the car this year after the previous owner had enjoyed the car for the past 13½ years – points out minor flaws, including a scuff on the passenger side mirror housing and some filled-in chips on the driver side rear quarter panel area.
The sixth-generation Z06s have also been affected by a cylinder head issue, and the seller notes there is no record of that being a problem on this specific Z06 but admits it could need to be addressed “without us knowing.”
All in all, though, he says this car “presents itself very nice being 100% un-modified and drives incredible.”

Nice
This is a good looking Z06 with it’s Atomic Orange Metallic paint.
I would budget a few thousand dollars for cyclinder head upgrades
