Over the weekend I was in the Chevrolet Build and Price Configurator in my attempt to build yet another E-Ray. It came out pretty good especially after I photoshopped it Purple. During my time on the configurator, I just noticed that there is a new interior accessory option that’s now available for any of the three C8 Corvette models.
These are the new visible Carbon Fiber sill plates featuring the Corvette silhouette logo and script. For those that can’t have too much Carbon Fiber on their cars, this might be for you!
When ordering them for your new Corvette, the price shows $1,995 on the build and price configurator. We also found them under the Corvette Accessories at Chevrolet.com where they were listed for $2,195 for the pair.
For those who may want to shop around, the official GM part number is 85104768.

What about the Visible Carbon Fiber Two Stanchion Spoiler (5ZW) for the the Stingray? Part number 85104131. I have had this option checked since DAY ONE. This is a LPO item, but the Dealer can not summit my order to GM? …….GM says it is not available it this time? the part no. can be ordered from GM parts. I think the factory has to install the mounting brackets? PLEASE I NEED an explanation of why GM will not accept my order. It’s been seven months now.

Too expensive. Should just raise the price of stealth trim by another $500 and include sill plates and shift selector trims.
