[PICS] First Look at the Z06 Accessory Spoiler in Visible Carbon Fiber

One of the new LPO dealer-installed options for the 2023 Corvette Z06 and the 2024 E-Ray is the 5V5 Accessory Spoiler in beautiful visible carbon fiber. This was considered a late addition when Z06 ordering first started last summer, but it’s now available to order and we got our first real-world photos thanks to our friends at the MECF and the NCM.

The 5V5 accessory spoiler spans the entire rear deck of the Z06 and replaces the standard level 2 and 3 base spoilers on the car. The option costs $5,995 when ordered with your car, but its also available as an official GM accessory for $5,795 with GM part #84862278.

Our friends at the MidEngineCorvetteForum.com also went digging for the performance aspects of the accessory spoiler and they received this response from a Corvette Team member:

5V5 makes more downforce than the standard Z06 spoiler in the Street Driving setup (small stock wickerbill) and less drag than the standard Z06 spoiler in the Track Driving setup (installed tall wickerbill).

We think this is a very sharp looking spoiler, and it looks to be a fairly decent replacement for those who had their hearts set on the full T0G visible carbon fiber high-wing spoiler that has been extremely constrained so far.

We’ve heard from several owners interested in the spoiler that they will be using their 500,000 MyChevy Reward Points they will receive after owning the sports car for six months without flipping. We think that’s an outstanding use for those points.
