It’s Thursday and that means it’s ‘Constraint Day‘ for the first Corvette order cycle of March 2024. General Motors sent out a memo to its Chevy dealers listing the following items that either can’t be ordered or can only be ordered in limited fashion. These constraints affect just those orders being submitted today. If your dealer called your number this week, congratulations.

This week’s order cycle is only for the Stingray and Z06. We did not hear from any dealer who says they received E-Rays, and that was confirmed with the constraints only being for the non-hybrids. There’s a little bit of bad news this week, but not too bad in the grand scheme of things.

Just two weeks ago we finally saw a bit a relief on the Q91 Gloss Black Wheels for the Stingray with zero constraints after months of not being able to order them. We had even more hope as the wheel is included on one of the new Japanese Limited-Edition models released this week, but unfortunately, it’s back on the constraints list. Nationwide, there are about 571 sets available for ordering.

Continuing with Stingray, we also see that the 5ZU painted High Wing (White, Red, or Blue) is still not available at all, and this option has been on constraint for the last three months or so. The good news is that the Carbon Flash version is still available. And finally, we continue to have a constrained split for Z51 vs Non Z51, and these numbers that can be ordered are different per dealership. If you dealer has allocations for Stingray, they will be given a specific number on how many Z51 vs Non Z51 can be ordered.

As for the Z06, we are seeing the T0G Visible Carbon Fiber High Wing is back on the constraints list, so any Z06 buyers that want Z07 and the visible Carbon Fiber aero/ground effects will be out of luck this go around, but the painted Carbon Flash aero and ground effects are available with no limitations.

We are expecting 2nd order cycle this month and our hope is that we’ll finally see some additional E-Ray allocations granted next Thursday. Other than allocations for dealers here or there, we haven’t had any major E-Ray allocations open since the first go-around last September.
