I caught this Instagram post from Corvette development engineer Cody Bulkley who said he was taking the Corvette E-Ray to the F.A.T. International Ice Race in Aspen over the weekend. In that post, Cody says “I am honored to pilot the @corvette E-Ray and show the world how it slays the snow!”
The circuit for the race appears to be a frozen lake high up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado with a course that’s laid out in an oval, and there’s a staging lane and covered pits set up for the participants. I reached out to Chevrolet for some additional info, but not sure if we’ll see anything other than this video posted to Instagram by the Corvette team:
I also found this video from the event on YouTube this morning, but unfortunately, it ends as we see the E-Ray in the staging lanes just before heading out to the course. I would also expect that Cody was able to do a couple of cyclone spins for the crowd considering that the E-Ray is in its natural environment.

Since the Eray has been delayed numerous times, I must assume Chevy is having some problems with the new design. I am high on several list for one but do not want GM to push them out before it is really ready for real world driving, but 🙂 hurry up ! lol
Hummm, I thought I read they were hitting the dealers as we speak.
Not the thing to do, with a C8 Corvette….
