Corvettes for Sale: The TrailBoss C6 Corvette Could be Santa's New Sleigh

Ten years ago, C6 production was winding down and the dawn of the final front engine Corvette generation was upon us. 13,466 Corvettes rolled off the Bowling Green assembly line for the 2013 model. Of those, just 2,597 were base-model coupes with the 430hp LS3 engine powering the rear wheels. The final C6’s were refined beasts capable of solid performance on the street or track.

But what if you’re looking to cruise in style off the beaten path? Do you pick up a Ford Raptor or Ram TRX? Nope. You need the C6 TrailBoss Corvette!

The 2013 TrailBoss Corvette is currently listed on Facebook Marketplace for $33,000. For that sum you get a 49k mile 6th generation Corvette with the LS3 and 6-speed manual transmission. The off-road capability comes thanks to a 4-inch lift supported by Fox Racing shocks. Toyo Open Country AT3 tires wrap Fuel Rebel wheels on all 4 corners. The black wheels are 33/12.5R20 out back and 255/65R17 front up front.

The TrailBoss C6 features a hidden winch stealthy routed through the front grill just in case a trail rescue is needed. LED lights mounted below the front valance illuminate your way during nighttime mudding. Another set of LEDs reside out back adjacent to the back up lights. Subtle fender flares complete the exterior look.

Overall, we find the TrailBoss C6 to be a tasteful combination of Corvette and off-roader. The appearance is relatively stock without being over the top. All the standard C6 fare still remains from the Cyber Gray paint, exposed headlights, and removeable targa top. We love a good lifted Corvette and this is one of the best ones we’ve seen yet.

Does, this thing really off road? Yep. Check out the seller’s 20-minute YouTube video of this thing rolling through the Badlands Off Road Park. You’d think 430hp and rear wheel drive don’t stand a chance in the mud and dunes, but the TrailBoss powers through the terrain just like Jeep Wranglers and various side by sides while getting shout outs and many thumbs ups along the way.

The seller states “This Corvette is extremely fun to drive. But that’s a given considering it’s a 460HP 6speed Off-Road Corvette.” The TrailBoss C6 could be yours for $33,000. For more information on this unique build, head on over to Facebook Marketplace.

  1. Just because some dude has a brain fart and comes up with a pos idea doesn’t make it worthwhile.

  2. I normally despise ridiculous cars like this but for some strange reason I don’t mind this one. I watched the beginning of the video while he described the build and then got out of it because I thought the rest of it would be stupid.

  3. Why??? What a pointless and useless POS, and what a waste of a nice car. Why not just buy a friggen rig that comes set up for off-road??? God I hate people. This is why they make trucks morons!!

  4. Some people like to have fun in their Corvette. Why not appreciate what he did? He was having fun and isn’t that the point of owning and driving a vette?
