[STOLEN] Canadian Police Recover a C8 Corvette Stingray and Charged Two Men with Theft

Authorities used GPS to track down a stolen 2024 Corvette Stingray in Canada, arresting a pair of 22-year-old men for the crime.

Ontario Provincial Police were able to track down the Rapid Blue Stingray coupe to a residence on McLaughlin Road in Caledon on Dec. 15, in the process also recovering a 2019 GMC Sierra pickup with a suspected VIN swap.

The two suspects – Ravinder Singh and Harbhinder Singh, both of Caledon – will head to Orangeville court on Jan. 11, each facing a count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

Police say the two vehicles are worth an estimated $180,000.

“The Caledon Community Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at the residence and recovered the Chevrolet Corvette and a suspected re-vinned 2019 GMC Sierra,” Det.-Const. Alvin Paliuanan said in a statement Wednesday. “As a result, two parties were arrested and the estimated value of property recovered was $180,000.”
