[VIDEO] Future Product Revealed? Check Out this Conversation Starter from Rick Conti

Our friend and Chevrolet rep Rick Conti has specialized in selling Corvettes for nearly 29 years, and over the course of that time he’s made a few friends here in there within GM. The Corvette seller and YouTuber recently shared a cryptic video which shows a potential new use of the C8 Crossflags logo on a future Corvette.

We have no idea what car this is on, although we can easily speculate that it’s most likely going to appear on the upcoming 2025 Corvette ZR1. That car just wrapped up development testing at the Nurburgring in October and we are expecting more details and even a reveal sometime in early 2024.

We’ve seen some teasers like this before, and we definitely recognize that we’re looking at parts of a chrome C8 crossed flags badge. You can see the same design in this full pic of the emblem with the black on the left side and red on the right:

What makes Conti’s bottom photo unique is the surrounding honeycomb grille in silver which is something we haven’t seen yet on the current C8 line-up. Our best guess is that it’s part of an engine appearance package for the ZR1, although Conti has also been talking about a Grand Sport for the last year or so as well.

This isn’t the first leak associated with the ZR1. Previously, we saw the ZR1’s wheel design leak out on the internet several months before they appeared on a prototype car. Then we had the engine crate spied at the National Corvette Museum with LT7 branded on it. Most recently, the GM Parts Catalog revealed the LT7 as being a 5.5L turbo V8 with VVT and AFM technologies.

What are your thoughts on these pics, Corvette Nation? Should we be excited about this “conversation starter”, or should we just label it as “Unobtanium Vaporware” and go back to crying about how hard it is to get a Z06?
