If you want to compare oranges with oranges, you might want to send a all-wheel drive electric hybrid 2024 Corvette E-Ray up against a new Acura NSX.
In the meantime, though, we’ll just have to settle for this drag race between YouTuber SSDracer’s brand new 2023 Z51 Stingray and a second-generation 2018 NSX.
The matchup went down at the Barona Dragstrip in Lakeside, California, where the 495-horsepower mid-engine, rear-wheel drive Stingray matched wits with the all-wheel drive NSX, which left the factory with a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 with three electric motors that join forces to make a total of 573 horsepower. This one, however, has subsequently been tuned, and we aren’t notified of the resulting gain in power.
In this race, the NSX gets a good jump off the line, as the Corvette driver says later that he had some problems with his launch control not wanting to kick in. Still, the Stingray manages to rally from a bad start to keep things interesting at the end, finishing with a time of 7.15 seconds to a 7.02 for the winning Acura.

Farm Truck…. LOL>>>>
The corvette got his doors blown off and certainly did not rally back at all. A Eray would have have a field day with the NSX.
I would have liked to see it on a quarter mile track, not a fan of the 1/8 mile racing.
