[ACCIDENT] Silverado Drives Over a C8 Corvette Stingray

Believe it or not, the driver of this orange C8 Corvette coupe escaped injury after a pickup rolled over the sports car and wound up with its front tires resting on the seats.

Authorities say the weird mishap happened around 9:30 p.m. Monday at 168th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard in the Colorado town of Thornton.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, but photos from the scene show the front end of the Silverado resting atop the front of the Stingray with the truck’s right front tire removed to help extricate the two vehicles.

Thornton Fire Department, North Metro Fire Rescue District, and Brighton Fire Rescue responded to the accident.

According to authorities, no one in either vehicle had to be taken to the hospital for treatment.
