Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.
Happy Birthday to Mike Furman who turned the young age of 63 on Saturday, and here’s to many more! The Corvette Seller didn’t take the big day off and instead was on site at the dealership making dreams come true to those enthusiasts picking up their new rides. Some great deliveries were captured this week at the Maryland dealership and the NCM, and we love reading about the various equipment that people add to their cars. The birthday boy also shared a fantastic gallery of never-seen vintage and throwback photos so be sure to list your favorites in the comments section below.

~I will be attending the Corvettes at Carlisle Event (41st year straight) August 23-26. My Corvette will be on display at the Ron Fellows Spring Mountain Racetrack tent on the Midway infield.

We were walking in the Dining facility when a woman walking in with a man said “Hey Mike Furman, don’t you recognize me?” Shelley owns a Local Fire Protection Company and has bought a dozen Express vans from me over the last 20 years and her son has bought a few family vehicles from me. She proceeds to say that her company will need 3 new vans real soon and her Friend Ray here is retiring next year and wants a Corvette. We small talk for a bit and go our separate ways (4). Tim and I sit down and proceeds to say that his brother Charles wants to buy a truck from me this year and a Corvette next year (2). Then Tim adds that he is in need of Two new family vehicles, most likely a Traverse and a Tahoe to replace his Malibu and Traverse(2). We were sitting next to a large table with a local family and I’ve sold 9-10 vehicles to that family and one of them said to me he just paid off his Traverse that he bought from me and would like to look at a new vehicle in a couple of months (1). Tim finishes this conversation that his Father has one more Corvette in him to buy from me and he most likely get one next year (1). Tim’s family lives 3 hours away in Eastern PA but his Father has bought 5 Corvettes from me, Tim’s sister bought a Malibu from me and Tim’s mother in law has purchased a used sedan from me.
…So for those of you counting at home, that is 10 Auto Sales in less than 30 minutes after my evening round of Golf. I ordered a Cheeseburger and finished the evening walking with Tim to our respective vehicles and Tim turns to me and says” You can never retire selling 10 vehicles in 30 minutes!” I said “ that doesn’t count all the emails and texts that I received this evening either!”
True story. As Tim always states to me, “ You just can’t make this up!”
~Larry S. of Selbyville, Delaware ordered from me a Ceramic Matrix Gray Coupe with Adrenaline red seats. Finished up the paperwork via Fed Ex and a truck will bring it 150 miles to Larry’s driveway. Equipment:1LT, edge red full length dual racing stripes, edge red hash stripes and Low spoiler.
FotoFX supplied a couple pics and Nathan sent me a couple pics. I called Nathan today to see how the museum delivery went and he literally was just pulling in the driveway at their Texas home. I gave him some tips in setting up Z mode and he was off to clean his new Corvette Z.

Confused by Pic #74 — two ’57 fuelie Corvette racers, nose to tail in the pits, but both cars appear to be #3? How can that be?
Maybe the other #3 is their backup car? My favorites are the pic of the yellow 73 at Le Mans and the pic of the tough looking blue 67 with side pipes and super wide wheels and tires.
