2024 Corvette E-Ray to Start Production on Monday, October 23rd

Dealers were sent an update this morning from General Motors and while we were expecting the first allocations for the 2024 Corvette E-Ray, unfortunately, GM had other plans.

We reached out to several dealers this morning and all confirmed zero allocations for the E-Ray, which was supposed to see its first order cycle start next Thursday, August 17th. Instead, it appears that dealers received additional Z06 and Stingray allocations as part of a secondary order cycle for the 2024 Corvettes which were first accepted by GM on July 27th.

In the Dealer communications memo today, Chevrolet did alert dealers that the start of regular production (SORP) for the 2024 Corvette E-Ray is Monday, October 23rd. That would probably place the first dealer deliveries to begin in late November and early December.

So the question remains if E-Ray allocations and constraints will come next week on the first day that orders can supposedly be matched to allocations, or if E-Ray ordering will be delayed another week. Stay tuned!
