[VIDEO] Mobil 1 The Grid – Corvette Drivers Journey to Le Mans Victory!

For many reasons, this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans really felt like it was a “Must Win” for Corvette Racing, who hadn’t seen the winner’s circle at the race since 2015. With the first mid-engine Corvette C8.R racer headed to retirement at the end of the season, the team really wanted to send it out with a bang. And what a bang it was, considering how they battled back from a near-insurmountable two-lap deficit early in the race to take the LMGTE-Am class win. It was the ninth class win for Corvette Racing and this really was a win for the ages!

Our friends at Mobil 1 the Grid recently dedicated a video featuring the drivers of Corvette Racing’s Number 33 Corvette C8.R – Nicky Catsburg, Nico Verrone, and Ben Keating – and their remarkable win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. During the warm-up to the 100th 24 hour race, each of the drivers discusses what it’s like to race at Le Mans, and what they need to do to win the biggest race of the year.
