We are now halfway through the 2023 calendar year, and we have an update to share on Corvette sales through the Top 10 dealers.
We recently ran an update showing the Top 20 Dealers back at the beginning of June and we aren’t seeing really any huge changes over the last month. If you want to see a more expanded list, you can view it here. This latest update covers deliveries for the first half of 2023 with sales from January 1st thru June 30th. The one major difference from the previous update is that the data shows the sales quantities for each month.
Continuing to lead the pack is MacMulkin Corvette in New Hampshire with 697 deliveries followed by Ciocca Corvette of Atlantic City with 574. Criswell Chevrolet/Mike Furman is tied for third with Bomnin Chevrolet Dadeland with 248.
We do note some inconsistencies from this report compared to the May totals which showed two Hendrick dealerships in the Top 10 while this one only has Rick Hendrick Chevrolet of Duluth, GA at number 10. It’s something we’ve seen a couple of times regarding Hendrick dealers and their totals, and nobody I have talked with can seem to rectify the differences. We are told these are official sales numbers direct from Chevrolet, so here they are:
We give the Top 10 Corvette Dealers a lot of our focus as all these dealers sell new Corvettes at MSRP, but the truth remains that people like doing business with them. Of the 17,029 Corvettes delivered in the first half of 2023, 15% of those buyers (2,518) purchased their new Corvette through one of these Chevy stores. You can also flip that statistic around with 85% of buyers taking delivery from a dealer not in the Top 10, but I think you get our drift.
With the Stingray headed into its fifth year of production, there is plenty of evidence that the market has equalized from its craziness over the first three years. In our opinion, there has never been a better time to order one and while we always recommend talking to one of the Top 10 volume dealers, these days it’s also worth stopping by your local or regional dealer and asking them what their list is like and average time to order.

I’ll never buy another from a dealer besides MacMulkin, they are on point with everything.
Ordered a different car from a different dealership and it was like night and day talking to them vs MacMulkin’s service.
That was very good information listening the top 10 dealerships for Corvette sales. Equally important was indication that they sell Corvettes for MSRP. Now I have decided where to order my C8 in 3 months. Dan
You might want to check your statement that ALL the top 10 sell Corvettes at MSRP. That maybe true for base C8’s but the Z06 sales is another situation. I know one of them were taking bids from customers to sell to the highest bidder, that’s not selling at MSRP.
I ordered my Z06 from MacMulkin. Picked it up at the MCM on May 16. The experience at MacMulkin in my opinion is the best car dealer experience I have ever had. I paid MSRP. They have all my future business. I live in NJ.
