[PIC] Peter Chilelli Calls In the Thunderbirds for Independence Day

Our friend Peter Chilelli of Fast Pixels offered up this salute to the USA on July 4th and it’s a 2023 Corvette Z06 wrapped in a similar livery as worn by the United States Air Force Thunderbirds. We think that’s a great way to show appreciation for the Stars and Stripes on Independence Day!

Peter explains that he does digital artwork for Thunderbirds & Blue Angels alumni and he offered up this graphic for the peeps on Facebook. “I just did this for you guys,” he posted on July 4th.

Peter says he was inspired by this rendering of a C8 Stingray with the Thunderbirds livery by Vengence Graphix, who imagined the C8 Stingray with the Thunderbird’s F16 flying in the background. This graphic was originally posted on 9/11 in 2020.

As we dug further into this topic, we actually had some validation that it wasn’t just us that thinks this is a great design. Sometimes these renderings deserve to be brought to life, and a shop named Shell Shocked Wraps actually did a C8 Corvette HTC with the custom wrap inspired by Vengeance Graphix that resembles the livery of the Thunderbirds.
